Rogue River Chieftains Football 21-52 La Pine

La Pine handed Rogue River a tough lesson Friday night, pulling away for a 52-21 football victory that drops the Rogues to 3-4 on the season. The game was played in La Pine, far from Rogue River, Oregon, where the Rogues had hoped to return with a road win. Instead, La Pine controlled much of the evening, building a lead the visitors could not overcome despite a determined effort. Rogue River managed 21 points, showing some offensive spark, but the defense was unable to slow a La Pine attack that rolled up 52 points on the night. The loss moves the Rogues to 2-2 in league play, keeping their playoff picture complicated with the postseason window narrowing. Rogue River will need to regroup quickly and find answers on both sides of the ball as the regular season winds down. How they respond in the coming weeks will define the back half of their 2026 campaign.
