Rogue River Chieftains Football 37-8 Lakeview

Rogue River's football team rolled to a convincing 37-8 road victory over Lakeview on Friday night, giving the Badgers from Rogue River, Oregon a needed boost in Southern Oregon Conference (2A) play. The win moves Rogue River to 3-3 overall and 2-1 in conference, arriving at a critical stretch of the league schedule with renewed momentum. Playing away from home, the Badgers controlled the contest from the opening quarter, building a lead that Lakeview never seriously threatened. The 29-point margin of victory reflected a balanced performance on both sides of the ball, as Rogue River's offense generated consistent scoring while the defense held the Hornets to a single score all night. After a 2-3 start to the season raised some questions about the team's direction, this performance offers a clear answer. With conference standings tightening across the board, the Badgers will look to carry this road win back home and build toward a strong finish to the regular season.
