Rogue River snapped a tough stretch Friday night, defeating Lost River 33-22 in Southern Oregon Conference (2A) football action at home in Rogue River, Oregon. The victory gives the Chipmunks a much-needed boost heading into the back half of the season. Rogue River controlled enough of the game to pull away from Lost River, building a lead that held through the final whistle despite a 22-point effort from the visitors. The win moves Rogue River to 2-3 overall and 1-1 in conference play, a meaningful turnaround after a difficult early stretch. Splitting league play at the midpoint keeps the Chipmunks in the mix for a postseason push, and Friday's performance showed this group can compete when it matters. With conference games still on the schedule, Rogue River will look to build on this momentum and string together wins that could reshape their season. The Chipmunks return to action next week with another opportunity to climb the Southern Oregon Conference standings.
