Rogue River's girls soccer team delivered a dominant road performance Friday night, shutting out Illinois Valley 8-0 to stay perfect in Southern Oregon Conference (2A) play. The Rogue River, Oregon-based squad controlled the match from start to finish, holding Illinois Valley scoreless across all 80 minutes while pouring in eight goals on the offensive end. The convincing victory moves Rogue River to 3-2 overall on the season and 2-0 in league play, a strong early foothold in the conference standings. After opening the fall with a 2-2 record, the Rams appear to be hitting their stride at the right time, stringing together league wins and building momentum heading into the heart of the schedule. The shutout will also do wonders for team confidence on both ends of the field. Rogue River returns home next week looking to extend its conference winning streak and continue climbing in the Southern Oregon Conference standings.
