Rogue River rolled to a dominant 8-0 shutout victory over Glide in Southern Oregon Conference (2A) girls soccer on Thursday evening in Rogue River, Oregon, pushing their overall record to 7-4 on the season. The lopsided win was a statement performance for the Chieftains, who controlled the match from start to finish and kept Glide off the scoreboard entirely. The victory improves Rogue River's conference standing to 6-2, keeping them in the hunt for a strong postseason position as the regular season winds down. Coming off a 6-4 record entering the night, the Chieftains responded with one of their most complete outings of the fall, showing depth and finishing ability across the lineup. The eight-goal output signals a confident group finding their rhythm at the right time of year. Rogue River will look to build on this momentum as they approach the final stretch of the Southern Oregon Conference schedule and set their sights on the postseason.
