South Medford Panthers Girls Soccer 8-0 North Salem

South Medford's girls soccer team delivered its most dominant performance of the season Tuesday, shutting out North Salem 8-0 in a non-league home match played in Medford, Oregon. The Panthers, who compete in the 6A-7 Southern Oregon Conference Hybrid, put together a complete effort on both ends of the field, keeping North Salem off the scoresheet entirely while finding the back of the net eight times. The convincing result moves South Medford to 4-9-2 overall and 1-4 in conference play, giving the Panthers a much-needed confidence boost as the fall season winds toward its close. The eight-goal margin was a statement outing for a squad that has been searching for consistent offensive production throughout the year. With the non-league victory tucked away, South Medford will look to carry this momentum back into conference play and finish the season on a stronger note.
