South Medford Panthers Girls Soccer 0-1 Grants Pass

Grants Pass handed South Medford a 1-0 defeat in 6A-7 Southern Oregon Conference Hybrid girls soccer on Thursday evening in Medford, Oregon, as a single goal proved to be the difference. The Panthers were unable to find an answer on their home pitch, falling short in a tight league contest that reflected how competitive the conference has been all season. South Medford drops to 3-9-2 overall and 1-4 in league play with the loss. Despite the scoreline, keeping the margin to one goal shows the Panthers can compete with quality opponents, and there are lessons to carry forward. With the regular season winding down, South Medford will need to find the back of the net more consistently to give themselves a chance down the stretch. The Panthers will look to bounce back in their next outing and close the season on a positive note.
