Rogue River's baseball struggles continued Tuesday afternoon as the Chieftains fell 15-0 to visiting Lakeview/Paisley in league action at home. The lopsided defeat highlighted the challenges facing Rogue River in what has been a rebuilding season for the program.

Lakeview/Paisley controlled the game from the opening inning, building a commanding lead that put the contest out of reach early. The Chieftains were unable to generate offensive momentum against the visitors' pitching staff, managing few scoring opportunities throughout the afternoon.

The loss drops Rogue River to 3-18 overall and 0-10 in conference play, mathematically eliminating them from postseason contention. While the scoreboard numbers have been difficult this spring, the young Chieftains roster continues gaining valuable experience that should benefit the program moving forward.

Rogue River will look to regroup as they prepare for their remaining league contests. The Chieftains have several games left on their schedule to build momentum heading into the offseason and begin laying groundwork for next year's campaign.
