North Medford Black Tornado Football 27-16 Sheldon

North Medford football knocked off Sheldon 27-16 on Friday night in Medford, Oregon, giving the Black Tornadoes their fourth win of the season and snapping what had been a tough stretch for the program. The victory moves North Medford to 4-4 overall and 1-2 in league play, a meaningful step forward for a team that entered the night sitting at 3-4 and in need of momentum. Playing in front of their home crowd, the Black Tornadoes built an 11-point cushion and held off a Sheldon squad that made things interesting late, eventually securing the 27-16 final. The win does not erase the work still ahead in conference play, but it provides a foundation to build on as the regular season winds toward its close. North Medford will need to keep this kind of effort going if they want to strengthen their postseason standing. Up next, the Black Tornadoes turn their attention to the road and another critical league matchup.
