Hidden Valley Mustangs Girls Soccer 0-6 St. Mary's, Medford

St. Mary's of Medford handed Hidden Valley a 6-0 defeat Tuesday in a non-league girls soccer matchup, handing the Mustangs a tough start to their 2026 fall campaign. Hidden Valley, based in Grants Pass, Oregon, and competing in the Skyline Conference (4A), hosted the Wolverines for the season opener, falling behind early and never finding an answer for St. Mary's attack. The Wolverines controlled the match throughout, finishing with six unanswered goals against a Hidden Valley side still working to establish its identity in the early going. For the Mustangs, the shutout loss underscores areas to sharpen on both ends of the field as the young season unfolds. Hidden Valley drops to 0-1 on the year. Despite the difficult start, the non-league schedule gives the Mustangs valuable experience before Skyline Conference play begins. Hidden Valley will look to regroup and carry those lessons into their next contest.
