St. Mary's School Crusaders Boys Soccer 8-0 Douglas

Eight goals and a shutout told the full story Thursday night as St. Mary's boys soccer rolled past Douglas 8-0 at home, keeping the Medford, Oregon, squad unbeaten in Southern Oregon Conference (3A) play. The lopsided result pushes St. Mary's to 9-0-1 on the season and a spotless 9-0 in conference, cementing their standing as the team to beat in the SOC this fall. Douglas offered little resistance against a Crusaders side that has been relentless through the opening stretch of the schedule. The eight-goal performance speaks to a balanced attack that has made St. Mary's one of the most dangerous offensive units in 3A Oregon soccer. A clean sheet adds to the defensive résumé as well, giving the program confidence heading into the final weeks of the regular season. With a perfect conference record and postseason positioning firmly in hand, St. Mary's will look to keep the momentum rolling as league play enters its critical closing stretch.
