South Medford Panthers Boys Soccer 2-0 North Medford

South Medford shut out rival North Medford 2-0 in a Southwest Conference (6A) boys soccer matchup played Saturday in Medford, Oregon, moving the Panthers to a perfect 4-0 in league play. The clean sheet was a statement win for South Medford, which improved its overall record to 5-3-1 on the season. Facing a crosstown opponent always carries extra weight, and the Panthers delivered when it mattered, controlling the match well enough to keep the North Medford offense off the board entirely. The shutout signals a defense that is finding its footing at the right time of year, as conference races begin to tighten across the 6A landscape. South Medford entered the game at 4-3-1 overall and leaves with momentum squarely on its side. With an unblemished conference mark through four league games, the Panthers are positioning themselves as a legitimate contender in the Southwest Conference standings. Next week will offer another chance to build on what was a convincing home performance.
