Phoenix Pirates Girls Volleyball 3-1 Hidden Valley

Phoenix volleyball picked up a statement road victory Tuesday night, defeating Hidden Valley 3-1 in a non-league matchup away from home. The Phoenix Varsity Girls, representing Phoenix, Oregon, and competing in the Skyline Conference (4A), improved to 4-1 on the season with the win. Traveling to face the Mustangs is no small task, and the squad handled the road environment with composure, taking three of four sets to secure the victory. The win builds on an already solid start to the fall campaign, as Phoenix entered the night with a 3-1 record and leaves with momentum firmly on their side. Dropping just one set shows the team has work to do in terms of closing out opponents cleanly, but the ability to respond and stay locked in throughout a tough road contest speaks well of this group. Phoenix will look to carry that confidence into their next outing as Skyline Conference play intensifies in the weeks ahead.
