Phoenix Pirates Football 6-41 Henley

Henley handed the Phoenix Pirates a lopsided 41-6 defeat in a Southern Sky League football game Friday night, dropping the Pirates to 3-5 on the season. The game was played in Chiloquin at Henley High School, far from home for the Phoenix, Oregon program. The Pirates managed just six points on the night against a Henley squad that controlled the contest from early on, pulling away for a 35-point margin. The loss leaves Phoenix at 1-5 in conference play, making the final stretch of the regular season a difficult road back toward respectability in the standings. It was a tough night on both sides of the ball, and the Pirates will need to regroup quickly. Phoenix will look to bounce back next week with a chance to close out the regular season on a stronger note and send their seniors out on a more positive note as the 2026 campaign winds down.
