North Valley Knights Girls Soccer 1-0 Mazama

A single goal was all it took. North Valley's girls soccer team defeated Mazama 1-0 on Thursday in Grants Pass, Oregon, picking up a hard-earned 4A-5 Skyline Conference victory at home. The win moves the Knights to 1-11 overall and 1-8 in league play. For a squad that had been searching for its first victory of the season, Thursday's clean sheet against the Volcanoes carries real meaning. Holding an opponent scoreless requires discipline and communication across the entire lineup, and North Valley delivered on both counts when it mattered most. While the road through the remainder of the conference schedule remains challenging, this result gives the Knights something tangible to build on heading into the final stretch of the fall season. The program now knows what it takes to close out a league match. North Valley will look to carry that confidence into its next contest as the 2026 season winds toward its conclusion.
