Rogue River Chieftains Softball 0-16 North Valley

North Valley delivered a dominant performance Friday afternoon, shutting out Rogue River softball 16-0 in league play at Rogue River High School. The visiting team controlled the game from the opening inning, building an insurmountable lead while keeping the Chieftains off the scoreboard entirely.
Rogue River struggled to generate offensive momentum against North Valley's pitching staff, unable to break through for any runs in the mercy-rule shortened contest. The Chieftains' defense also faced constant pressure as North Valley's hitters found success throughout their lineup.
The loss drops Rogue River to 4-14 overall and 0-5 in conference play as they continue working through a challenging spring campaign. Despite the difficult result, the Chieftains have shown flashes of improvement in recent weeks and remain focused on development.
Rogue River will look to regroup and get back on track in their next league matchup. The team continues building toward stronger performances as the season progresses, with several opportunities remaining to show their growth on the diamond.
