North Medford Black Tornado Softball 2-12 West Linn

West Linn defeated North Medford 12-2 in non-league softball action Saturday at West Linn. The Black Tornado from Medford, Oregon, which competes in the Southwest Conference (6A), suffered a rare setback against the Lions in what became a challenging road contest.

North Medford entered the game with an impressive 21-3 record but struggled to contain West Linn's offensive attack. The 10-run margin represented one of the largest defeats for the Black Tornado this season, as they managed just two runs against the Lions' pitching.

Despite the lopsided result, North Medford maintains an excellent overall record at 21-4 and a strong 17-1 conference mark. The non-league loss does not impact their Southwest Conference standing as they continue their pursuit of a conference championship.

The Black Tornado will look to bounce back from this difficult outing and return to their winning ways. With their conference record still intact and postseason aspirations well within reach, North Medford has plenty to play for as the season continues.
