Illinois Valley Cougars Boys Soccer 6-0 Douglas

Illinois Valley's boys soccer team rolled to a convincing 6-0 road victory over Douglas on Tuesday, October 20, giving the Cave Junction, Oregon, program a strong midweek result in 3A-SD3 Special District 3 play. The Cougars controlled the match from start to finish, putting together their most dominant offensive performance of the season against a Douglas side that could not find an answer at any point in the contest. The shutout kept Illinois Valley's defense sharp at a critical point in the league schedule, combining a dominant attack with a clean sheet that bodes well heading into the final stretch of the fall. With the win, the Cougars improved to 7-4-4 overall and 7-3 in conference play, a record that puts them in solid position as postseason seeding comes into focus. Illinois Valley will look to carry this momentum into their next outing and continue building their case for a strong finish to the 2026 campaign.
