Hidden Valley Mustangs Girls Soccer 7-1 North Valley

Hidden Valley picked up its first victory of the season Thursday, rolling past North Valley 7-1 in Skyline Conference (4A) girls soccer action. The Mustangs, representing Grants Pass, Oregon, made the road trip pay off in a big way, scoring early and often to put the match away decisively. The dominant performance moves Hidden Valley to 1-6 overall and 1-3 in conference play, giving the program a meaningful benchmark to build from after a difficult start to the fall. Seven goals against a league opponent is a strong statement, and it suggests the Mustangs have been developing throughout the early portion of the schedule even when the results did not reflect it. North Valley had little answer for the Hidden Valley attack on the evening. The win arrives at a good time, with the Skyline Conference race still unfolding and Hidden Valley looking to string together momentum heading into the final stretch of the regular season. The Mustangs will look to make it two in a row in their next league outing.
