Hidden Valley Mustangs Girls Soccer 1-2 Phoenix

Phoenix edged Hidden Valley 2-1 in Skyline Conference (4A) girls soccer action on Tuesday, handing the Mustangs from Grants Pass, Oregon a tough road result. The loss drops Hidden Valley to 1-9 overall and 1-6 in league play as the Mustangs continue to search for consistency in the back half of their fall campaign.

Playing away from home, Hidden Valley found the net once but could not match Phoenix's two-goal output. The Mustangs showed enough fight to stay competitive, but the margin proved too much to overcome on the road.

With the regular season winding down, Hidden Valley will need to tighten things up defensively and capitalize when scoring chances appear. Every remaining league game carries added weight for a young squad still building its identity. The Mustangs will look to bounce back in their next outing and close the season on a stronger note.
