North Medford Black Tornado Boys Soccer 1-2 Grants Pass

Grants Pass handed the North Medford boys soccer team a 2-1 defeat Tuesday evening in a 6A-7 Southern Oregon Conference Hybrid league match played in Medford, Oregon. The Blacktors struggled to find an equalizer after falling behind, managing just one goal in the loss. Grants Pass controlled enough of the contest to leave town with the victory and three crucial conference points. The result drops North Medford to 4-8-1 on the season and 1-3 in conference play, making the path to postseason contention significantly steeper as the fall schedule winds down. North Medford did show some fight, finding the back of the net once, but the Blacktors will need to sharpen their finishing and tighten defensively if they hope to close the season on a stronger note. The team will look to bounce back in their next league outing, where a win would go a long way toward rebuilding confidence heading into the final stretch of the 2026 campaign.
