Grants Pass Cavemen Boys Soccer 2-1 North Medford

Grants Pass picked up a hard-earned 2-1 road victory over North Medford in a 6A-7 Southern Oregon Conference Hybrid boys soccer match on Tuesday, with the Cavemen making the trip from Grants Pass, Oregon, to come away with a crucial league win. The result moves Grants Pass to 8-4-1 overall and 3-1 in conference play, keeping the Cavemen firmly in the mix as the postseason picture takes shape. Playing away from home against a North Medford side that pushed them until the final whistle, Grants Pass showed enough composure to convert twice and hold off the Black Tornado's late effort. The one-goal margin reflects how competitive Southern Oregon Conference play has been this fall, and every point earned on the road carries added weight at this stage of the season. Grants Pass will look to build on this momentum as league matches continue and the playoff push intensifies.
