Crater Comets Girls Volleyball 3-1 Cascade Christian

Crater volleyball picked up a momentum-building win Tuesday night, defeating Cascade Christian 3-1 in a non-league match played at home in Central Point, Oregon. The victory moves the Midwestern League (5A) program to 2-3 on the season after entering the night at 1-3. Winning three of four sets against a visiting opponent gave Crater a needed confidence boost heading into a stretch of league and non-league competition that will define the early portion of their fall campaign. The match was not affiliated with Midwestern League standings, but results like this one carry weight regardless of classification, building cohesion and momentum for a program still finding its footing through the first weeks of the season. With five matches now in the books, Crater has a clearer picture of where they stand and what areas need sharpening. The Comet faithful will be watching closely as the schedule stiffens and the team looks to build on Tuesday's four-set victory.
