St. Mary's School Crusaders Girls Volleyball 1-3 Coquille

Coquille won Tuesday's non-league girls volleyball match at St. Mary's in Medford, Oregon, taking the match 3-1 in four sets. The result drops St. Mary's, a member of the 3A-6 Far West League, to 0-1 on the season. Playing their first match of the fall, the home squad could not find enough consistency across the four sets to counter Coquille's attack, dropping three sets while claiming just one. Non-league matches like this one serve an important role early in the season, giving teams a chance to measure themselves against unfamiliar competition before league play intensifies. For St. Mary's, the loss is a data point, not a verdict. There is time to adjust rotations, sharpen serve-receive, and build chemistry before the Far West League schedule puts more on the line. St. Mary's will look to pick up their first win when they return to action later this week.
